The event was organized by the MAMO Academy (International Academy of Medical Education), which conducted a 5-day professional development course. They invited leading ophthalmologists and refractive surgeons:

– E.I. Belikova — Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology at the FGBOU DPO IPK FMBA of Russia, cataract surgeon  

– I.S. Fyodorova — Cataract and glaucoma surgeon, specialist in reconstructive surgery of the anterior segment of the eye  

– S.G. Kapkov — Glaucoma surgeon, specialist in reconstructive surgery of the anterior segment of the eye  

– E.A. Smotrich — Leading refractive surgeon, laser surgeon, ophthalmologist  

The 5-day course consisted of two parts. The theoretical section covered the main aspects of modern vision correction techniques, approaches to diagnosis, and patient selection for surgery. On the fifth final day, participants applied their newly acquired knowledge in practice – using our VISUM laser platform.
